The commodity “supercycle” (both mineral and agricultural) greatly benefited the commodity-producing countries, many of which were emerging economies. In addition, the commodity cycle also had a significant impact on the relative performance of different economic sectors. Could we have anticipated the relative impact on the countries, sectors, and stocks?
