The Wall Street Journal’s Forecasting Survey

Since a recession is commonly associated with two consecutive quarters of economic decline you can argue that the survey results are calling for a shallow recession. Overall, they expect the economy to grow at a 0.6% rate during 2008. For 2009, they call for the economy to grow at a 1.3% rate.
