Industrial Production Outlook

The most recent reading to the Industrial Production Index numbers shows a monthly gain of 0.6%. During the fourth quarter the Industrial Production Index increased at a 7% annual rate. Unfortunately, at the end of the year the index was 2% below where it stood the previous year. However, on the positive side, the U.S. Industrial Production Index posted its sixth consecutive monthly increase.
