The Wall Street Journal’s Forecasting Survey

In the latest survey, the economists’ outlook continues to look for a slow recovery over the next few years. The housing market remains an impediment to growth, as economists see the housing market nearing its bottom and just beginning to stabilize. Unlike previous recessionary periods, housing does not appear to be a candidate to drive the economy out of the doldrums.
