The Wall Street Journal’s Forecasting Survey

In the latest survey, the economists have improved their forecast for the economy, though it still is not overly optimistic. The economists don’t see much of a chance of a downturn, with only a 15% chance of a recession over the next twelve months. The counter is that they also only see a 13% chance that growth will surpass the long-run average of 3.5%.
