The facts are what they are. The question is whether we can provide a simple explanation as to why the Obama policies have produced an asset rich, income poor recovery. In order to do so, we provide a simple description of how the financial crisis had a negative impact on the economy’s balance sheet and income statements. Then we focus on the recovery and the policies adopted by the administration at the time.
