Is Central Banking a Science or an Art?

The information presented leads us to conclude that the Fed has distorted both the money and credit markets. Ironically, in the credit markets, the distortions are analogous to a tax, while in the money market the distortions are analogous to a subsidy. Going forward, the Fed will have arduous and difficult tasks full of land mines.
