The Wall Street Journal’s Forecasting Survey

In the latest survey, the economists said that volatility in the financial markets would probably force the Fed to delay their increase in the fed funds rate till at least mid-year. The economists think that the Fed will wait for stronger economic indicators and for the market to stabilize before making a move, and they put the odds of an increase in June at right around 50%.
