Income Inequality, Tax Rates, and Fairness

The implicit and sometimes explicit criticism of people who minimize their tax liability is that somehow they are doing something immoral or illegal. If they are doing it illegally, they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. But if they are doing it legally, they should not be accused of anything. If politicians do not like the behavior their legislation induces, then they should change the legislation.
