The recent economic speeches by the two candidates in the state of Michigan provide some insight as to what will be the likely policy initiatives of the candidates. We argue that the two candidates’ discussion and explanation of their economic program also sheds some light as to the understanding of their own economic framework, as well as that of their adversary.
