Report Detail Summary
The First 100 Days
April 06, 2025
The Trump administration is well on its way to its first one hundred days. Although there is a great deal of debate surrounding the policies, the record pace of policy initiatives is unmistakable. At the risk of mixing metaphors, two analogies aptly describe these policies. One is that the administration policies are analogous to that of a supernova explosion sending stars in every direction of the universe. It is implementing policy that affect each and every aspect of American lives. The pundits and the public are debating whether these policies will deliver? Again , given the number of initiatives, executive orders, and legislative actions, it is likely that some of these policies will not work or may not be to the liking of particular sectors of the economy. But to have a favorable opinion of the administration policies one does not have to agree with all of the policies. This brings us to the second analogy. Take a Michelin star restaurant, one does not have to like all of the dishes in order to conclude that the restaurant deserves a Michelin star. Nor does each patron have to agree on which dishes they like. Different patrons have different tastes and as such will have different favorites dishes. The same can be said about the economy and the Trump administration policies. You must have an active account to view these reports.
