One obvious conclusion being that although the President takes a roundabout approach and does not get to the finish line in a straight-line faction, he nevertheless gets there. One can argue that the President negotiating style is to ask for the moon, then settle for less but nevertheless getting a large chunk of what he initially asked for. Our interpretation of the America First policy suggests that President Trump will engage with bilateral negotiations with anybody as long as he perceives that the negotiations will benefit the US. But to get an idea of the President ultimate objective one has to look collectively at all the bilateral negotiations that he is undertaking. Each dela is a piece of the puzzle , but collectively they paint a clear picture , the America First policy. This perspective suggests President Trump is taking steps to reorganize the global political and economic order in favor of the US even if it is at the expense of the rest of the world.
