November 06, 2002

During the last few weeks we have been arguing that there were two defining events in the horizon. One was the possibility of going into Iraq. The second event that we considered as defining was the outcome of the election. The consensus seemed to be that the status quo would prevail. Some argued that gridlock was good. A Democratic Senate would provide some checks and balances to the President’s agenda. George W.
