Policy Changes and Market Turning Points: 2003 in Review

When all is said and done, irrespective of size, style and/or location, 2003 was a very good year for the equity markets. It is our contention that the timing and relative performance of the various indices was greatly influenced by major political and economic developments during the year. In fact the relative performance of the three equity indices is closely related to the events that took place during the year.
