Election Aftermath

The election is over and President Bush has been re-elected to a second term. In addition, the Republican Party retained control of both the Senate and the House of Representatives. So it is natural to ask; what are the likely changes in policies for a second term agenda and what effect will these changes have on the economy and the markets? However, the Senate majority is not a filibuster-proof majority. This raises one of the questions the Democratic challenger raised during the campaign, are we going to get more of the same?
