Better than Reagan?

All indications are that the reelection of President Bush appears to have brought joy to the domestic equity markets. On Election Day the market tumbled as soon as the bloggers began disseminating the exit poll numbers. The Dow lost the 80 points it had gained during the day and then some. The next day Senator Kerry conceded, the market bounced back and continued rallying during the week. Is this a signal of good things to come in the future? We have looked back in time and concluded that it does.
