Industrial Production Outlook

In spite of the concerns about the rough patch earlier in the year, the U.S. Industrial Production Index posted a solid 4.3% increase for 2004. The index increased at a revised 0.9% in June and 2.1% annual rate during the second quarter of 2005. The second quarter’s increase was the smallest increase in two years.
