However, even if the impact on the economy is one that does not stop economic growth, it does mean that things could have been better or that substantial resources are not being redistributed by government policies, nor does it rule out the opportunity for the astute investor to take advantage of government policies favoring a particular group or sector. It is much easier betting against the government then against the market.
