The November election will mark the first open election since 1952. By that we mean an election where a President or an incumbent Vice-President is not running for the highest office in the nation. Given such an election, one would expect to see the election process not favor one candidate over another. Yet, the primary season is over and at this point in time in the political cycle the winds are clearly blowing in favor of the Democratic candidate.
