The economists expressed confidence in the Fed. 60% of the respondents believe the Fed will raise interest rate at the right time, 36% believe they will be too slow raising rates and 4% believe they will raise rates prematurely. On average, the economists expect the Fed to raise the target rate from the 0-0.25% range some time around August, 2010. They expect the Federal Funds rate to be 0.37% in June 2010 and 1.00% in December, 2010. You must have an active account to view these reports.
