The election of Barack Obama and the passage of the health care legislation marks a turning point in the economy. We believe that, rightly or wrongly, we are in for a long term cycle of government intervention in the economy where tax rates, regulations and the share of government provided services will steadily increase over the next several years. The only question is where that trend will take us.
