The Wall Street Journal's Forecasting Survey

Some of the economists believe that the administration has created enormous uncertainty by arbitrarily attacking various industries. On average the economists believe that the biggest threat to the economy over the three years is deflation not inflation. On average the expect the economy to grow at a pace below 3% and see only a 20% chance of a double dip. They also believe that the tax rate cuts should be extended and they do not think the U.S. will adopt a Value added tax over the next decade.
