The Wall Street Journal’s Forecasting Survey

In the latest survey, the economists’ outlook was optimistic for the third month in a row. As consumers and businesses begin to open their wallets, the economists became more optimistic that 2011 could be the best year for the economy since 2003. The challenges of a depressed real estate market, as well as state and local governments struggling to provide services did not hamper the economists’ optimism.
