For quite some time, we have been intrigued by the possibility of implementing a global or international strategy by solely buying companies in the S&P 500. The theory is very simple. These large companies are multinational companies; they may have production facilities or sell their product outside the country. As such, the fortunes of these companies are affected by the economic trends outside the country.
