Politics is Twice a Four Letter Word

The issue is whether the Obama economic policy mix can recreate the faster growth rate of yesteryear, i.e. the Reagan and Clinton administrations. During both of these administrations, the first two years were slower than the remaining six years. President Obama’s policies have not even produced a return to the historical real GDP during the second half of his first term.
