The Wall Street Journal’s Forecasting Survey
November 20, 2012
In the latest survey, the economists had little change in their forecasts. With the survey being before the election, most of the forecasts were similar to their pre-election expectations for the imminent future: slow growth, muted inflation, and no real job creation. The majority of economists feel that the “fiscal cliff” will not come to fruition and some type of deal will be struck, and, hence, no real recession risk.
